AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has admitted that Italy full-back Massimo Oddo could be on his way out of the club with Lyon a possible destination.
Speaking to Wednesday's Gazzetta dello Sport, Galliani said: “Lyon are interested in our full-back and anything is possible.”
The 32-year-old former Lazio right-back is almost certain to lose his place in the Milan first team this season following the arrival of Gianluca Zambrotta from Barcelona.
Oddo was part of the Italy squad that soared to World Cup glory in Germany in 2006 but was not included in the party that contested Euro 2008 in Austria and Switzerland in June.
He has played 34 times for his country, scoring twice, but has fallen down the pecking order for the azzurri right-back jersey, a post currently occupied by Zambrotta.
If Oddo was to move to Lyon he would join another Italian, left-back Fabio Grosso, who was also a World Cup winner in 2006.
