AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani claims that the deal to bring David Beckham back to the team is complete and that official announcement is just a few hours away.
The Rossoneri are excited to announce the return of the England international who had spent his last six months on loan at a Serie A Club. The midfielder wants to play regular top-flight football to boost his chances of appearing in Fabio Capello’s World Cup squad.
“The agreement for David Beckham has been completed,” Galliani told reporters. “In a few hours we and Galaxy will officially announce this deal.
“We are just waiting for the very last documents but I confirm that he will return to Milan.”
Milan has also been linked with Under-20 Ghana international Dominic Adiyiah, but the chief remained hushed on those rumors.
“Will we be buying a non-EU player? A Ghanaian? We will see,” concludes the Italian team’s chief executive.
