(GSM) – Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani insists there’s little doubt Massimilliano Allegri will be appointed as their new coach within a few days.
Cagliari president Massimo Cellino is refusing to release Allegri from his contract, despite sacking him last season.
“Everybody knows who the next Milan Coach is: when he free himself from Cagliari, if he frees himself from Cagliari, it’s certainly Allegri,” Galliani said.
“I won’t lose patience. Allegri is a Coach tied to Cagliari until June 30, 2011. It doesn’t depend on me. It depends on Massimo Cellino.
“I don’t know what Cellino is thinking. Right now he is in Miami and I will see him next week. The relationship with him is very good.
“When he returns we will resolve the problem. Milan’s training camp starts on July 20.”
