AC Milan vice president Adriano Galliani was delighted to see the Rossoneri get their Serie A campaign back on track after the 2-1 win over Reggina last night.

“We had to win to recover points in the table – it was a positive day in the league,” said Galliani.

“On Saturday I will reward Shevchenko for his 300 games with the Milan shirt because it starts a journey that never ended.

“On Alexandre Pato people said 10 days ago that he was a mysterious object, but I think more balance is needed.

“Toward the end of the game I was fearful, but at this point tonight’s victory is all that matters. The Reggio Calabria crowd is admirable, they’re very sportsmanlike.”

Marco Borriello continues to impress for AC Milan as he scored one of the goals against Reggina last night. Brazilian ace Alexandre Pato also grabbed a goal for AC Milan in the match.
