(GSM) – Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has “nothing to add” on the rumors which have linked Manchester United striker Dimitar Berbatov with a move to Milan. Reports have suggested Milan will try to bag Berbatov in a swap deal involving Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.
Berbatov is reportedly read to go to Milan after an unconvincing two-year stint at Old Trafford following his £30million transfer from Tottenham.
Meanwhile, Huntelaar has also struggled to hold down a regular first-team place at San Siro and has therefore been linked to a United move.
Galliani said England could be a “solution” for Huntelaar but the Milan vice-president refused to comment on Milan’s reported interest in Berbatov.
“When Klaas was at Real Madrid, he had the chance to go to England, Germany or Italy, and he chose Milan,” Galliani told the Italian media. “But England could be a future solution.
“I have read about our interest in Berbatov and I have nothing to add.”
