As we have already mentioned, Giovanni's Gems uses a 7x7 reel set and instead of landing identical symbols on paylines, you are supposed to form clusters. To create a cluster you need to land at least 5 symbols of a kind on adjacent positions anywhere on the reels. The high paying icons are depicted as sacks of diamonds, torches, pickaxes, emeralds and rubies whereas in the lower parts of the paytable you will find sapphires amethysts, citrine and coal symbols. When coal symbols land next to a winning combo, they transform into diamonds which are the top paying symbols and pay even when only one symbol appears.
