The Far East has been inspiration to slot providers ever since due rich culture and tradition and a large market. In 2016 Microgaming along with the software developer Mahi Gaming came up with their take on the genre.

Shanghai Beauty revolves around beautiful Shanghai women dressed in traditional Chinese garment. The slot is pretty basic in its appearance with symbols landing on a set of plain white reels set against the flowery backdrop. As you would except, cherry blossoms are present on the screen making up the colourful background.

The reels are home to high paying symbols represented as two female characters and golden and silver ingots while the rest of positions are populated with generic playing card symbols. The game's logo stands for Wild while a mysterious green box with golden decorations represents Scatter.

When included in a winning combination, symbols get animated, but apart from that, there is nothing special when it comes to the visuals of the game.

How to Play

The game uses 5 reels and 9 paylines allowing you to wager between only $0.09 and $45 per spin. You can wager up to 5 coins per line while the coin denomination goes up to $1.
