When we first launched this game, we were faced with a serious sense of weird. We were able to figure out why almost immediately, too. The background image is fully HD, and is drop dead gorgeous! And yet, it is contrasted against a layout that reminds us of physical machines. After a few minutes, you’ll get used to it.
Sky Queen is a 5-reel, 3-row Playtech release with 50 fixed paylines. The visuals are good, but what really drew us in was the gameplay! You have the standard free spins most players are quite familiar with. And on top of that, you get the Fire Blaze Re-spins, which are your gateway to winning the fixed 2,000x jackpot.

As we already mentioned, the layout makes this slot look a little older than it actually is. It’s perfectly functional, and nothing is more than two clicks away! You can wager between $0.25 and $500 per spin.
Available symbols are a mixture of playing card royals and Mesoamerican themed icons. The letters and numbers look boring and generic. There was no effort to ‘decorate’ them to better fit the theme. In contrast, the drums, mask, the jade idol and the cheetah are all very distinct.
The massive Aztec pyramid is the Scatter symbol. Collect three or more to win a cash prize and 8 free spins.
Collect three or more identical symbols in adjacent positions from left to right to win a cash prize. The winning combination must follow one of 50 active paylines or it won’t count.
Let’s tackle the simpler bonus first! Once free spins are activated, you play eight free spins. You can win eight more by collecting three or more Scatters again during the special feature. There are no additional benefits to activating extra turns. However, it is possible to win the re-spins bonus while free spins are being played.
To win Fire Blaze re-spins, gamblers have to collect between 6 to 15 Sun icons. Each Sun symbol can appear with a cash prize, or a Jackpot star icon. Three re-spins are played, during which time all Suns become sticky. If another Sun symbol appears, the re-spins counter is reset to three. The special feature ends when no more Suns appear after three re-spins.
If all 15 positions have been covered by Sun icons, then the 2,000x jackpot is awarded. If there’s at least one jackpot star on top of the sun, players will be able to get one of the other three jackpots.
