I guess you heard of the story of Aladdin and the Magic Lamp, one of the best known and most retold of all fairytales. This one originated from the Middle East and tells a story of Aladdin, a young boy who found a genie living inside a lamp, a genie with the power to grant three wishes. The story has become very popular since, while the idea of a genie that may fulfil wishes has captivated many.

Now, Playtech brings not one, but three female genies in the recently-launched Treasures of the Lamps and they have the power to make your wildest dreams come true. How to Play

First things first, before you embark on this Arabian-themed adventure, you’ll need to place a stake. With the reels set against a skyline of a bustling Middle Eastern city, the list of symbols includes the standard range of playing card suits, treasure chests, swords, palaces and white horses. There are also the three genies (Ruby, Audrey and Gloria), and the magic lamp which serves as the game’s Wild symbol, substituting for all other icons bar Scatters.

The list of features starts with the Magic Lamp, a randomly triggered round during any spin where one of the three genies can grant a powerful wish. If summoned, Audrey will award up to 5 extra Wilds, Gloria will bring Spreading Wilds which move left or right making room for a row of Wilds, while Ruby will give you free respins with a Wild symbol locked in position.

The scatter symbols (10/20/30 Plays, 1-5x Multiplier, Free Games and/or Stargazer Bonus) may appear on the reels 1, 3 and 5 simultaneously – granting you access to the Free Games feature or The Stargazer Bonus feature.

When it comes to the Free Games feature, the Scatter symbol on reel 1 will determine the number of free spins you’ll get – which may go up to 30, while the multiplier on the reel 3 reveals the multiplier applied to all subsequent wins – going up to 5x.

The Stargazer Bonus feature is triggered when the Stargazer Bonus scatter lands on the reel 5. The Scatter icon on the reel 1 reveals the number of spins you’ll receive (up to 30), while the Scatter on the reel 3 determines the multiplier (up to 5x). It’s up to you to pick stars to win a prize worth up to 10x your bet. Bear in mind that any star picked during this feature can summon a genie, with more offers available if you manage to do so.

The theme itself is okay although we have a feeling Playtech could have done a bit more.
