Stormcraft Studios has once again exclusively developed a video slot for Microgaming, and the name of the new release may sound familiar to some players. Back in 2013, Microgaming launched a game with the same name, but apart from it, the recent launch has nothing in common with it.

The June 2020 release comes with a five-by-five reel set and a total of 50 paylines. The game is considered to be highly volatile, offering payouts reaching 9,000 the stake, while its Return to Player averages at a decent 96.30%. Featurewise, expect to encounter Splashing Wilds, Growing Wilds, and a Free Spins bonus round with Trail Multipliers of up to 25x.

How to Play

To get the reels spinning, players will need to place a bet of at least $0.20, with the maximum stake set at $20 per spin.

In addition to the aforementioned maximum prize, Wild Catch features a fixed payout available during the Free Spins round. This is the Wild Jackpot, which awards winnings worth 2,000 times the bet.

Wilds are important symbols in this release, which not only substitute for other icons but also trigger a special feature.

The Splashing Wilds appears randomly, triggering three wild reels in the middle of the screen. This can result in wins on all paylines at the same time. Unfortunately, this won’t happen very often, but it will be worth waiting for.

There are three different types of Free Spins. Crystal Lake awards 15 spins and a multiplier trail of up to 10x. Emerald Creek comes with 10 spins and a multiplier trail of up to 15x. The third type of Free Spins offers five spins, multiplier of up to 25x and pays out the biggest prizes.

All Free Spins rounds feature the Rolling Reels mechanic, while the Growing Wilds bring stacked Wilds and can result in a fixed jackpot.
