We will admit, we did not expect to like this NetEnt release when we first booted it up. The theme itself is interesting, but the graphics don’t seem all that exciting. You join a trio of Avian heroes who are filing their paperwork, while you idly spin the reels. There’s not much of interest going on – at least, that’s the cause until the special features are triggered.

Wild Worlds is a 5-reel, 5-row video slot that uses a Cluster Pay system. The game is set in an office overlooking the city. Every so often, you get a shot at beating back the threat through special features. These include Hero Wilds, the Destroy bonus, or three different types of free spins.

How to Play

You can change your bet level and coin value without having to go into a separate menu. Simply adjust these two values until you reach the total bet that you like! You can wager between $0.20 and $400 per spin.

Symbols are split into three categories. Basic gemstones are the low win icons. Gems with the faces of our three heroes are the medium value symbols. Finally, a black gemstone with a crown and Wild are the high paying icons that reward the most cash.

A ruby diamond with a golden W is Wild. Scatter is represented by the circle with red, green and blue sections to it.

The slot uses the Cluster Pays mechanics. This means that any horizontal or vertical line with three or more identical symbols awards a cash prize.

The three hero gemstones have a special property that occurs when they form a winning combination. Namely, any other icons that weren’t part of that win will transform into Wilds.
The Destroy bonus occurs randomly if you get a non-winning spin. One colour is randomly chosen, while all other colours are removed from the playing field.

Collect three Scatters in any position to win eight free spins. There are three types of free spins that you can win:
• Dark Forest: Spreading Wilds
• Ice World: Sticky Wilds
• Fire Lands: Random Wilds

During free spins, players fight two types of monsters: Captains and Bosses. Captains have 15 health points (HP) and grant free spins if you destroy them. Bosses have 105 HP and re-start free spins if you successfully defeat them.

To deal damage to the monsters, you have to fill up each hero’s meter. Said meter only goes up if that hero’s low and medium paying symbols are part of the win.
