Garcia admits Rami could leave

Lille boss Rudi Garcia has admitted that defender Adil Rami could leave the club at the end of the season.

The 24-year-old came close to joining Marseille last summer. Lille is expected to struggle to keep the highly-rated defender at the club this summer.

He told L’Equipe TV: “He is the only player who could potentially leave.”

He added: “Earlier this season he was persuaded to stay because we knew we could have a great season.

“We’ll offer him a new project but we know that his departure is possible.”
