BBC Wales is today reporting how former Croatia international Davor Suker believes that Gareth Bale should join La Liga Champions Real Madrid.
Bale has been in the news this week for his excellent double on Friday evening. The Tottenham man scored twice in the final ten minutes to defeat Scotland in a crucial World Cup qualifier.
He has been in fine form for Tottenham this season too and Suker – who will watch Croatia try and stop Bale on Tuesday evening – believes his skills would suit La Liga.
The Former Madrid striker and now President of Croation Football said: “If he has the possibility to go to Madrid it would be his best move of his career.”
“So many clubs in the world have huge histories. Arsenal is a great club, Manchester United and Chelsea.”
“For me Real Madrid is one of the best clubs in the world.”
Bale has recently signed a new long-term deal at Tottenham though, so it is unlikely he will be moving to Spain anytime soon.
However, if he keeps performing as well as he is at the highest level, it is only a matter of time before a top European club comes in with a massive offer.
