Chilean midfielder Gary Medel could be leaving Inter Milan in the summer transfer window, according to Tuttosport.
The highly rated footballer has enjoyed a very good start to his career at Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, but his long-term future at the club appears to be in doubt.
Namely, the Nerazzurri are expected to sign both Ever Banega and Yaya Toure in the summer transfer window, meaning that Medel’s place in the side is in danger.
Inter are reportedly ready to consider offers in the region of €6 million for his services, but they also wouldn’t mind the Chilean staying at the club.
Considering that he can successfully operate in the heart of defence as well, Medel is considered a useful member of the squad.
The 28-year-old is being linked with a return to Boca Juniors, while he could also end up at Lazio is former Chile boss Jorge Sampaoli takes over the reigns at Stadio Olimpico.
