Spanish daily newspaper Marca has learned that Southampton midfielder Gaston Ramirez is on the verge of joining Sevilla.
Los Rojiblancos expect to complete at least another signing before the transfer window closes and the Spanish media outlet has revealed that the Uruguayan is one of the players set to arrive at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
Sevilla will sign the player on a season-long loan with an option to buy, thus ending his thoroughly disappointing spell at St Mary’s.

The Uruguayan has only managed 23 Premiership starts in two years at the club, although he did score 6 goals in the process.
