Gaston Ramirez ponders summer exit

Bologna star Gaston Ramirez has revealed that he could leave the club in the summer despite signing a new deal at Renato Dall’Ara.

The 20-year-old midfielder was widely tipped to leave Bologna last summer, but he eventually opted to stay and even signed a new deal few days ago.

However, the player admits that he is, nonetheless, likely to leave Bologna next summer.

“I promise the Bologna fans seven goals and 15 assists this season,” Ramirez told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

“However, I’ll then be ready to play alongside great champions, players like Andrea Pirlo.”

The Uruguayan then moved to deny claims that he had requested a transfer in the summer.

“That’s not true. I never asked the club to sell me during the summer.”
