Genk defender Kalidou Koulibaly is set to undergo a medical ahead of joining Napoli, Belgian newspaper Het Belang Van Limburg has revealed.
The Frenchman has shown a great deal of potential since joining the Belgian giants from Metz and he seems to have already earned a big club move.
Het Belang Van Limburg has suggested that Koulibaly will undergo a medical at Stadio San Paolo later today ahead of signing for the Azzurri in the summer transfer window.
The French footballer could find it hard to nail down a regular starting berth at Napoli, but time is definitely on his side.
Koulibaly began his professional career at Metz, and went on to make 56 league appearances before signing for Genk in the summer of 2012.
He has continued with impressive performances in Belgian’s elite division, featuring in a total of 64 league matches and scoring 3 goals in the process.
