Serie A club Genoa are no longer interested in signing Inter Milan wingers Mancini and Ricardo Quaresma, according to club president Enrico Preziosi.
The Nerazzurri players were targets of the Grifoni in the summer but the deals never materialised with Mancini and Quaresma refusing to move to Genoa.
Preziosi told Gazzetta dello Sport: “Quaresma and Mancini will not be joining us. Our needs have changed after recovering (Raffaele) Palladino and (Bosko) Jankovic.
“We are covered in that attacking role and, if anything, we are better off than Inter are.
“This does not mean we will not be strengthening the side.
“I have already spoken with (coach Gian Piero) Gasperini.
“If we are still fighting on several fronts in January, I will invest more money.”
Mancini and Quaresma are set to leave Inter in the winter transfer market having struggled to earn regular spots in Jose Mourinho’s side.
Mancini has made just two appearances for the Nerazzurri this campaign while Quaresma has made three.
Genoa lie in fifth position in the Serie A standings and are third in Group B of the Europa League.
