Genoa are hoping to sign Argentine defender Facundo Roncaglia from Fiorentina, according to Sky Sport Italia.
The Rossoblu have only shipped in 20 goals in 18 Serie A fixtures this term, but they still aim to further reinforce their back line.
As a result, they have offered to sign Fiorentina stopper Facundo Roncaglia on a loan deal until the end of the season.
After enjoying a bright start to his career at Artemio Franchi, the 26-year-old has lost his place in the side and only made a total of 5 Serie A appearances this term.
He is, therefore, looking to leave Viola in search of first team football and a switch to Stadio Luigi Ferraris would probably appeal to the Argentine.
Fiorentina are locked in the battle for the final Champions League berth with Napoli and even though they trail the Azzurri by three points at the moment, they are 2/1 for a top 3 finish.
