Serie A outfit Genoa have kicked off the January transfer window in style as they announced a total of three new arrivals.
The Rossoblu, who have been struggling in the early exchanges, recruited midfielder Luca Rigoni from Palermo for an undisclosed fee.
The the 31-year-old had fallen out of favour at Stadio Renzo Barbera and his proposed move to Genoa was announced even before the New Year.
The Stadio Luigi Ferraris outfit also announced the loan signing of Spanish midfielder Suso, who joins from AC Milan.
Having largely struggled for playing time at San Siro, the former Liverpool starlet will certainly have enough motivation to give his best in Liguria.
Last but not least, Brazilian striker Bruno Gomes has joined from Internacional, after the club had failed to submit the required paperwork for the deal to go through in the summer.
All three players have been added in time to be in the squad for tonight’s Derby della Lanterna, where Genoa are 5/4 to claim maximum points.
