Genoa are interested in signing Danny Rose from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window, according to Sky Sports. It has been reported that the Serie A club have been in talks with Spurs over securing the services of Rose this summer.
The 30-year-old left-back spent the second half of last season on loan at Newcastle from Tottenham. Spurs head coach Jose Mourinho did not have the England international in his plans, and the defender has not been given a squad number for the new Premier League season.
Ben Davies and Ryan Sessegnon are the two senior left-backs at Tottenham at the moment, and it seems that Rose is deemed surplus to requirements. The defender has one more year left on his current contract, and it appears that Spurs want to sell him now and get some transfer fee instead of losing him on a free next summer.
