Gent beat Cercle to win Belgian Cup

Gent have won the Belgian Cup by beating Cercle Brugge 3-0 in Saturday’s final.

The match took place at the Stade Roi Baudouin stadium in Belgium’s capital city Brussels, where Elimane Coulibaly scored the opening goal for Gent after 36 minutes.

The score remained that way until late on, as Mbaye Leye netted Gent’s second goal in the 85th minute to practically secure the victory.

Christophe Grondin added a third in added time for a final score of 3-0.
