Spanish daily newspaper Marca has learned that Everton winger Gerard Deulofeu is on the verge of joining AC Milan in the January transfer window.
The Spaniard has seen his first team chances at Goodison Park severely limited and he appears to be looking for a way out.
Meanwhile, AC Milan head coach Vincenzo Montella believes that Deulofeu would be a very good addition to his squad and is hoping to agree a loan deal for the 22-year-old.
Deportivo La Coruna and Las Palmas have also shown interest in the talented forward, but it is believed that he prefers a switch to San Siro.
Gerard Deulofeu had come through Barcelona’s famous youth academy, but went on to join Everton after making just two La Liga appearances for the Catalans.
He has since scored 5 goals in 62 Premier League outings, although it is important to note that he only started 29 of those fixtures.
