French daily newspaper L’Equipe claims that Marseille are closing in on Monaco striker Valere Germain.
It is no secret that l’OM are in the market for attacking reinforcements and they have so far been linked with quite a few high-profile footballers.
However, latest reports suggest they are now hot on the trail of Monaco’s Valere Germain, the player who scored 10 goals on the road to the Ligue 1 trophy last term.
The 27-year-old no longer appears satisfied with acting as back-up for Radamel Falcao and Kylian Mbappe, and he plans to leave Stade Louis II one year before his contract is due to expire.
Having been born in Marseille and with his father Bruno having played for the club, he is very keen on moving to Stade Velodrome.
Germain has been quite prolific over the last few years if we look at his goal per minute ratio and he would certainly be an asset for Rudi Garcia’s squad.
