Competition: International friendly
Market: Germany to win against USA
Odds: 1/2 @ William Hill

World champions Germany host the USA tonight, which is serving as warm-up game for the Eagles ahead of their Euro 2016 qualifier to come days later. Joachim Lowe’s men have struggled for form since their World Cup triumph last summer, but should have enough quality to beat the USA.

Germany beat Georgia in an important qualifier, but were held to a draw against Australia in a March friendly, which sums up their insistent form of late. Joachim Lowe’s men failed to win against Poland and the Republic of Ireland in the Euro 2016 qualifying groups, while Argentina and Cameroon also earned positives results when coming up against Germany.

As for the USA, their form this year has been decent. Three wins from their six games played sees the visitors in good shape to challenge the Eagles, but it’s no easy task coming up against the world champions who will have the likes of Bastian Schweinsteiger (Bayern Munich), Mesut Ozil (Barcelona) and Mario Gotze (Bayern Munich) at their disposal. As a result, William Hill are giving odds of 1/2 for Germany to sees past USA tonight.
