Competition: World Cup
Market: Germany to win against Algeria
Odds: 3/10 @ Bet 365

One of the tournament favourites Germany are expected to breeze through into the quarter-finals at the expense of Algeria in the last 16. The Eagles, managed by Joachim Lowe, have been a formidable outfit in this summer’s World Cup, beating the likes of Portugal and the USA to finish top of Group G.

Algeria made the last 16 finishing runners up in Group H, which contained a difficult set of opponents – Belgium, Russia and South Korea. They have some talent too, with Sofiane Feghouli, Yacini Brahimi and Islam Slimani some of the heroes from their incredible journey so far.

But Germany boast a well-recognised world-class midfield. They have Toni Kroos, Philipp Lahm and Bastian Schweinsteiger likely to play as the central midfield trio, with Mesut Ozil, Mario Gotze and Thomas Muller in the forward positions.

Such is their vast array of talent to be on display this evening, Bet 365 are giving odds of 3/10 for Germany to beat Algeria tonight to reach the World Cup quarter-finals as they‘ve grown accustomed to.
