Competition: World Cup
Market: Germany to win the World Cup
Odds: 4/6 @ Bet 365

Germany are the favourites to win this summer’s World Cup, following their 7-1 win against Brazil in the semi-finals. Joachim Low’s side last made the World Cup final in the 2002 tournament, losing to Brazil 2-0. Since then, the Eagles have fallen short in the semi-finals, but now their fourth World Cup is only potentially 90 minutes away.

Argentina will fancy their chances of a World Cup triumph too. The South Americans boast the likes of Lionel Messi, Sergio Aguero and Angel Di Maria as their attacking threats who can all provide goals when in form.

But Bet 365 are backing the Germans for victory, giving Low’s men odds of 4/6 to lift the trophy by any means. The final could go to extra time as the 2010 World Cup final did, while the 2006 World Cup final went to penalties. Therefore backing Germany to win the World Cup is a wiser choice as both clubs are likely to play out a cagey affair in normal time.
