Liverpool midfielder Emre Can stands a good chance of joining Juventus in the near future, according to Germany team manager Oliver Bierhoff.
Die Mannschaft midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to Turin, as his contract is due to expire at the end of the season.
Schalke midfielder Leon Goretzka is also reportedly a target for the Bianconeri, and Germany team manager Oliver Bierhoff has spoken about the chances of seeing the two players in Italian Serie A.
“We’re talking about two important players,” Bierhoff told reporters.
“They’ll have so many options for the future, they’ll be personal choices. At the moment England is the top for a player, and after that there’s the lure of the powerful Spanish clubs.
“Emre Can and Goretzka would definitely be successful in Serie A too. Unless Inter return to the top though, if one of these players were to choose Italy now it would only be for Juventus.
“There’s not much chance for Goretzka, maybe only 20 per cent. I think there’s a lot more for Emre Can, I’d say 60-80 per cent.”
Emre Can and Leon Goretzka will both be out of contract in June, so it is hardly surprising that Juventus are hot on their trail.
