Juventus officials are desperate to reinforce their injury-depleted squad in January, with the Bianconeri ready to make a January move for Hoffenheim defender Andreas Beck.
Club’s general director Giuseppe Marotta has compiled the list of targets for the January transfer window and Andreas Beck is one of the first names on the list.
Hoffenheim are thought to be holding out for €10 million for the 23-year-old, but since his contract expires at the end of 2012, maybe Marotta will be able to sign him for less.
The player’s brother and agent Arthur Beck says the Germany international is pleased to be linked with such a great club.
“The Italian league is one of the strongest and most followed. Juventus are successful on an international level, so how can we not be pleased with the link?,” said Arthur Beck.
“It’s important because Andreas is doing well. We will see what will happen.”
