Germany international full-back Jonas Hector has moved to confirm he would consider a summer move to Liverpool.
The Reds manager Jurgen Klopp has reportedly set his sights on luring the left-back to Anfield in the summer transfer window.
Liverpool have mostly relied on Alberto Moreno this season, but the Spaniard has often failed to deliver.
Therefore, Jurgen Klopp appears to be readying summer bid for the FC Koln hotshot, who claims he is ready to make the next step.
Asked by Eurosport: “What if Jurgen Klopp called you?”, Hector replied: “Then I would start thinking what to do.”
Jonas Hector surprisingly established himself as first choice left-back in the Germany national team after Philipp Lahm had retired, making seven appearances in the Euro 2016 qualifiers.
But, having spent his entire career so far at FC Koln, the 25-year-old is clearly prepared to leave the Billy Goats for greener pastures at the end of the season, and the latest reports suggest that Liverpool lead the chase for his signature.
