Germany striker Cacau out for three weeks

Stuttgart’s Germany striker Cacau will be out for three weeks with a hip injury, the Bundesliga side announced on Wednesday.

The 28-year-old attacker was hurt in Tuesday’s 3-1 Champions League defeat at home to Sevilla which effectively rules out the Germans chances of making the competition’s knock-out phase.

The Brazilian-born forward qualified for Germany through residency here and won the first of his four caps against China in Shanghai last May.
