Gerrard discusses Morelos speculation

“He’s in a great place. In terms of me nothing changes. We’re working with the player. He puts a smile on my face when I get out of bed and go all the way to training to work with him because he’s a top player.

“The interest and speculation won’t go away and that’s something we have to live with. But I’d be more concerned or worried if no one was interested in my players.”

Those are the words of Rangers manager Steven Gerrard, who has stated that he doesn’t think the speculation surrounding Alfredo Morelos’ future is going to go away. Borussia Dortmund, Leicester and a series of other German clubs are interested in signing him, which can always be off putting in the middle of the season.

The 22 year old has been with Rangers since back in 2017 when he joined from HJK, and fans have been waiting for the day when a bigger club attempts to try and sign him.
