Brazilian midfielder Gerson and Paraguayan winger Juan Manuel Iturbe have been tipped to leave AS Roma in the January transfer window, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
The 19-year-old footballer arrived in a mega money deal from Fluminense this summer, but he has largely struggled for playing time so far.
Considering that he has only played a couple of minutes of Serie A football this term, chances are that Gerson will be loaned out in the winter.
AS Roma officials want the talented footballer to gain some much needed first team experience, with Empoli and Crotone reportedly interested in his services.
Meanwhile, Juan Manuel Iturbe has been deemed surplus to requirements and everything suggests he will be leaving as well.
But, having been given quite a few chances to impress at Stadio Olimpico, the Paraguayan will probably be leaving on permanent basis, that is provided AS Roma can find a buyer for his services, which will not be an easy task following several disappointing campaigns.
