Ivorian international striker Gervinho confirmed on Wednesday that he will be sticking with French first division side Lille next season.
“I’m staying at Lille,” said the 22-year-old, who still has two years left on his contract which he signed last July for a club record transfer of 6.5 million euros.
“I want to relive the moments we had this year in the Europa League and next season why not play another competition and take on the other big teams in beautiful stadiums.”
To achieve this objective of playing Champions League, Gervinho believes that Lille can hold their third place and finish at least in the top five.
