La Liga outfit Getafe are readying summer bid for Deportivo Alaves midfielder Manu Garcia, AS can reveal.
Having secured league survival with seven games to go, los Azulones have started thinking about summer reinforcements.
As that is usually the case, Getafe are predominantly targeting soon-to-be free agents and they have already agreed a deal for Real Valladolid forward Jaime Mata.
At the same time, los Azulones are hot on the trail of Deportivo Alaves midfielder Manu Garcia, who has enjoyed an incredible journey from third division to the top flight, scoring 5 goals in 49 La Liga outings.
With the 31-year-old having failed to reach an agreement with his current employers, Getafe have indeed emerged as favourites for his signature.
Meanwhile, AS claims that los Azulones are also looking at Everton goalkeeper Joel Robles, another quality footballer whose contract is due to expire.
