A report carried on SkySports claims that Getafe have snapped up Real Madrid midfielder Esteban Granero on a five-year deal. It is believed that Madrid valued the player at around £18 million
The 21 year old has made his switch permanent after spending last season on loan with the Primera Division outfit.
Granero joined Real Madrid C at the age of 17, where he stood out for his talent and passing skills and eventually became a part of the Spanish under-21 team that was victorious in the 2006 UEFA European Under-19 Football Championship.
Tottenham Hotspurs were also linked the player but had never made an official move to secure his services.
