(GSM) – Getafe will consider bids for Real Madrid target Pedro Leon, according to sporting director Toni Munoz.
The midfielder had an impressive first season at the Madrid-based club after arriving from Real Valladolid last summer.
While, being left out for a spot in Spain’s World Cup squad, the 23-year-old attracted the attention of Getafe’s famed neighbours, Real, who are reportedly keen to bring him to the Bernabeu.
However, the player is expected to be present at pre-season training with Getafe on Monday.
“Pedro Leon has to be here on Monday, that’s definite. Then we’ll see. There has been a lot of talk during the summer, because he had a very good season and he is an attractive proposition for many clubs,” said Munoz.
“If he has the chance to go to a club he believes to be a step up from Getafe, we will study it.”
