Ghana came back from behind to beat Uzbekistan 2-1 at the World Youth Championship 2009 in Egypt.

After Alexandria, Cairo and Suez, the tournament now arrived to the city of Ismailia for the clash between Ghana and Uzbekistan.

The Uzbeks went ahead in the second minute after the break, with Sherzod Karimov directing the ball past Ghana goalkeeper Agyei.

But Ransford Osei equalized on the hour and 19-year-old forward Dominic Adiyiah added a winner in minute 75.

The other two teams in this group, England and Uruguay, play later on Saturday.
