The first half of AS Roma’s second-leg encounter with AC Milan in the Europa League quarterfinals was a turbulent one. Seeking to preserve the one-goal lead from the first leg, the Gialorossi were two goals with just a quarter of the match played, courtesy of Gianluca Mancini and Paulo Dybala, but they were forced to play with 10 men for over an hour after Zeki Celik earned a red card.
Nonetheless, Daniele De Rossi’s side succeeded in staying ahead, with Matteo Gabbia providing only a late consolation for the Rossoneri.
