Veteran midfielder Giuliano Giannichedda has admitted he would like to re-join Udinese and finish his career at the club.

Giannichedda is currently a free agent and is keen on a move to the Serie A side.

“I don’t know anything about what Udinese want to do,” declared the former Juventus and Lazio player.

“I already said clearly that I would like to close my career there [Udinese]. I have a very good memory of Udine and respect from the entire environment.

“Obviously there’s the hope that in January someone calls me up, but I don’t believe the rumours. In football it becomes concrete only when you sign the contract.”
