Kieran Gibbs has left Arsenal and will be making a move to fellow Premier League side West Bromwich Albion, Sky Sports reports.
After 27-year-old left-back was told that he was free to leave the Emirates, it was believed that he was going to make a move to Watford.
Even though both clubs had a deal in place, the Hornets pulled out last minute after failing to agree to personal terms with Gibbs.
West Brom then jumped at the opportunity and agreed to a £7 million deal with the Gunners for the English defender’s services.
Gibbs was in the final year of his contract with Arsenal and has not appeared in a game this season, which heightened the former England international’s need to leave the Emirates.
Since joining the Arsenal senior squad in 2007, Gibbs was the first choice at left-back for Arsène Wenger until his starting XI position was given to Nacho Monreal last season.
