Gibbs linked with Arsenal exit

The Metro understands that Arsenal are set to sell Kieran Gibbs at the end of the season.

Aside from a brief loan spell with Norwich City in 2008, the twenty-six year old has spent his entire career with the Gunners, racking up over two hundred appearances for the club in all competitions, scoring six goals.

He was part of the squads that won back to back FA Cups over the past two seasons, while internationally he has won ten senior caps for England.

The full-back has made just three league appearances in 2016 and has just started twice this season with Nacho Monreal ahead of him in the pecking order.

Newcastle United are among the clubs interested in making a move for the defender and could be set to lodge a bid when the transfer window reopens.

Arsene Wenger’s side host Swansea City on Wednesday evening and are priced at 4/11 for the win.
