Leicester City and West Bromwich Albion are ready to battle for the signature of Middlesbrough defender Ben Gibson, according to the Mirror.
The centre-back played every minute of the recently concluded Premier League campaign, but was unable to help prevent the North East outfit from immediately being relegated back to the second tier.
Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur are also monitoring the situation as they all look at strengthening their back lines.
Gibson received his first ever senior England call-up back in March, and is keen to remain in the top flight as he looks to boost his chances of making his Three Lions’ debut.
In total, the twenty-four year old has made one hundred and fifty-three appearances for Boro, scoring three goals – the last of which came in a defeat to Spurs back in September.
He has also had loan spells with Plymouth Argyle, York City and Tranmere Rovers while he has made ten appearances for England’s U21s.
