Veteran midfielder Ryan Giggs is doubtful for Manchester United’s Champions League clash against CSKA Moscow in the Russian capital on Wednesday.
The Welshman suffered a knock towards the end of Saturday’s 2-1 win over Bolton and is unlikely to travel to the Luzhniki Stadium.
Manager Alex Ferguson also has doubts over several other key players and told the club website: “Ryan Giggs has got a knock and is a doubt for Wednesday.
“Patrice Evra we’ll have to look at tomorrow, he may be a doubt.
“(Dimitar) Berbatov, I think, will be all right. Wayne Rooney, we’ve got to try to get him ready for Wednesday.
“I’m hopeful (Nemanja) Vidic will be all right, but he’ll certainly be ready for the Liverpool game.”
United top Group B with full points from two games, while CSKA have won one and lost one.
