Giggs: “We don’t miss Ronaldo”

(GSM) – Ryan Giggs claims little has changed at Manchester United since Cristiano Ronaldo’s exit in the summer. Giggs knows United’s strenght lies in their team unity. “We have never been a one-man team and that’s why we don’t miss him at all.”

Ronaldo made a record move to Real Madrid this summer and his absence was expected to leave a gaping hole in United’s attacking arsenal, with a regular source of goals having been offloaded. However, the Red Devils have fared admirably and veteran midfielder Giggs believes Sir Alex Ferguson’s side are as fearsome as ever – regardless of the changes in personnel.

“Cristiano is one of the best players in the world but I have to be honest and say I haven’t noticed much of a difference since he left,” Giggs said in English paper The People.

In Manchester, nobody worried about Ronaldo’s transfer to Ronaldo. “We all knew Cristiano wanted to play for Madrid and when he got the chance he took it.

“He wasn’t a Manc and we knew one day he would leave, but there are no hard feelings – why should there be?

“He is one of the best I have ever played with and a really nice lad, but we knew Madrid was where he wanted to be one day and he got his wish, so good luck to him.”

why is gigs speaking so blasphemly over the friend’s transfer and what made him start talking of Ronaldo when he is out of your team already. Nowander even man-u fans behave like that, when they loose they are silent as if they haven’t been playing but if they won, oh no

    do my eyes decieve me?

Did you really say that, CFC Fan?

What happened to hoping he did leave?

Ronaldo did bring a lot of our goals, albeit through PKs and Free kicks, yes, but goals nonetheless. BUT, that doesnt mean we’re completely helpless without him. Rooney has scored more goals this season than Ronaldo had this time back in, I think January or February at Old Trafford. Not only that, but we also have Berbatov scoring a few good ones, and Valencia has done well in Ronaldo’s old position. OK he aint as good as Ronaldo himself, but he still has talent.

I just wish Fulham and Aston villa hadnt got the better of MUFC in the past three games this season. . . I remember Ronaldo scored twice against Villa back in April in a memorable 3-2 win.
