Turkish daily newspaper Fotomac has suggested that Galatasaray are closing in on Marseille striker Andre-Pierre Gignac.
The French forward is set to leave Stade Velodrome when his contract expires at the end of next month, and he is currently considering his options.
According to Fotomac, Galatasaray have emerged as favourites to recruit the 29-year-old footballer having presented him a three-year deal worth €2.5 million per campaign, with another €1 million signing-on fee.
Russian giants Dynamo Moscow were also linked with a move for the France international, but it appears there are not too many side prepared to meet Gignac’s wage demands.
The experienced forward has enjoyed three very successful seasons at Marseille after initially struggling to prove his worth, bagging a total of 50 goals in last three Ligue 1 campaigns.
He has played himself back into the first team plans of France coach Didier Deschamps and featured in four friendlies last year.
