Chelsea beat direct top-four rivals Tottenham Hotspur at Stamford Bridge on Saturday by 2-1, but the main talking point after the game was how Spurs midfielder Giovani Lo Celso was allowed to continue playing after deliberately stamping on the shin of Cesar Azpilicueta. The Chelsea captain was very lucky that his bone remained in one piece.
Referee Michael Oliver clearly missed the incident and it was therefore reviewed by VAR, which ruled there was no serious foul play involved and Lo Celso was not shown the red card.
