Giovani Lo Celso is leaving Tottenham Hotspur for Villarreal in the summer transfer window, according to Gianluca Di Marzio. The well-known and well-respected journalist has reported on Twitter that Lo Celso will move to Villarreal on loan, adding on his website that the La Liga club will have the option to make the deal permanent next summer.

Lo Celso spent the second half of last season on loan at Villarreal from Premier League outfit Tottenham. The 26-year-oldLo Celso made 11 starts and five substitute appearances in La Liga last season, scoring one goal and providing one assist in those matches. The former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder also made six appearances in the UEFA Champions League during his loan spell at the Yellow Submarine.
Villarreal will hope to finish in the top four of the La Liga table this season, and Lo Celso will play his role in that quest.
