Giovinco nears January exit

Turin based newspaper Tuttosport has learned that Sebastian Giovinco is likely to leave Juventus in the January transfer window.

The Italy international has less than a year left on his deal in Turin and everything suggests he will be sold in the winter.

Giovinco was expected to act as the first back-up to Fernando Llorente and Carlos Tevez, but it appears he has been upstaged by new signing Kingsley Coman.

The summer arrival from Paris Saint-Germain surprisingly started the opening fixture against Chievo and having largely impressed against the Flying Donkeys, he is now believed to be in front of Giovinco in the pecking order.

As a result, the 27-year-old is almost certain to leave the Bianconeri this winter, with Arsenal likely to reignite the interest in their long-term target.

Since rejoining Juventus from Parma, Giovinco has made a total of 48 league appearances and managed to score just 9 goals.

Who said he’s fallen behind Coman in the pecking order? Can you quote a source? It’s ‘writers’ like you who talk absolute sh ite that take all the credibility out of the industry. Seriously, get a real job.

Tuttosport has been quoted as a source and the fact it was Coman and not Giovinco who started the Chievo game is enough to suggest they are correct.
