Parma forward Sebastian Giovinco would need to get some guarantees over his future if he is to return to Juventus, the player’s agent has explained.
The Italian international was never given a real chance to impress in Turin and he subsequently joined Parma on one-year loan.
Il Ducali exercised the option to buy a half of the player’s contract in the summer, but now Juventus are interested in bringing the star forward back to Turin.
Parma president Tommaso Ghirardi recently confirmed that a return to Juventus was on the cards, but the player’s agent claims the Bianconeri would first need to make some promises to his client.
“The project will be fundamental when it comes to considering his next club,” D’Amico told Tuttosport.
“Sebastian will need to receive certain technical guarantees from a coach and a club.
“We are not talking about the boy’s status, but his sporting future. It all depends on the coach who wants him more…”
D’Amico claims that the Bianconeri haven’t contacted him regarding the player’s future.
“Juventus chiefs haven’t spoken to us yet, and I understand that they haven’t contacted Parma either. But, Ghirardi has had some important conversations with Juventus.”
Giovinco is Parma’s top scorer this season, having bagged nine goals in 21 Serie A games, while creating five assists for his teammates.
